New Year!

2009 is here! great and mysterious events are gonna to happen in our lives, how are we going to handle those? ever wonder or excited for what God is going to do in your lives? haha well i do!

Its been 2 weeks ever since i got into my new camp, and my diarrhea is still under recover, its already been a week, i wonder what i ate that causes this, haha. But praise God that He is my healer and i will not be scared but knowing that i will be healed, Praise the Lord! I also wanna to thank God for the test that i had yesterday on my wireless comms, at first i was so afraid i would not pass because they actually stuffed a so called one-poly-semester textbook in our heads in 2 weeks, and guess what, i pass! haha.

I managed to get to prayer meeting last night, and God was great and He moves among us and He showed me something. Many times i had looked upon my own ways and strengths in doing things for God, but God showed me that for the promises that He gave to me, i will not depend on my own strength to do it. But knowing that it is God and the Holy Spirit whose gonna make all things happen and they are in full control, all things are POSSIBLE. AMEN.

Finally its already been 1 week since i got into the course. A lot of things happen and all i can say is, its not easy going through when you are back in the world.

I meet new people, and out of those some are Christian, Praise the Lord! And one even told me that he wanna start cell inside this camp, wow! Maybe we can pray about it and hope to see it come to past.

I face a few things this week which i don't wish to write it here, but i wanna encourage those who serve the Lord faithfully, there can be times, where you think 'Why is this happening to me?' Always know that He is just beside you listening to your complains and comforting you, and encourage you 'I know you can go through this, because you are going to be refined as gold'.

Going back to Camp!

Finally, 12 days of block leave its over, and im going back to serving the country as a soldier. I think that going through this Army life can really change a person's life, and i personally had gone through it. Although its just 6mths but i can see some changes in me.

I kind of miss the time during the camp where we enjoy, learn and have fun together as a big family-of-Christ, haha. But God is still the same forevermore, haha. I realize that after the camp, what i really matter most is my relationship with God because its the Love for God that leads to all the transformations, brokenness, setting apart and consecrations take place. We don't have to be rule-keeping Christians whereby we keep looking at the 'rules' and try not to sin against God, or busy with all the church stuffs and services. We just have to be RELATIONAL with God, have you ever ask yourself 'Do i know God, or do i know about God?' this really keeps me thinking that i don't really spend time with God, thinking that maybe going to church and doing devotion is enough.

Nah, Christ-Followers are not like that. When they go to heaven, they will hear this from God 'Welcome home my faithful servants! Lets continue our chat that we stopped last night!' You must be shocked by a little 'isn't Christianity a religion?' Its much more than that, its a RELATIONSHIP, take it as if you are Jesus' wife and He is your husband, you need to communicate with Him.

i will just stop here for now, going way too off the point, im going back CAMP tomorrow! I have been posted as a Signaler, im still unsure of the big picture of it, but i will still trust God that its the best plan He has for me and i will be shaped by Him through this unit. From here on i guess i will only update my blog once a week. All the best for me! Praise the Lord!

Christmas Party!

Had a great fun at the party today, but the most important thing throughout this whole party is like what we prayed yesterday about being a blessing to the people around us. We had lots of fun just now, from games to buffet and gifts exchange, was cool. I felt tired and weary this morning even as i meet jun xiong for breakfast and buying some stuffs, but as i went for the party and being a blessing to people, the tiredness and weariness just departed from me, and i thank God for that.

God really bless those who bless others, well in actual fact He bless everyone and anyone, hahaha. But God is great as He replenished the energy in me and people were blessed by us in our giving, i hope that those newcomers will see God even through the skit and the sharing by Shu Hui. I pray that they will join us again for this coming Thursday which is 'The Greatest Gift' Christmas Rally and receive the priceless gift of all time.

Challenges

God has been great ever since yesterday, not just the camp, but also to the challenges He has set for me. Here are the challenges that i faced since yesterday:

A bad injury on my ankle due to a fall, suspected to be ligament tear
Spend money on food that's not worth it, feel cheated
Light stick burst in my pants, all the chemical flow out
Wallet 'corroded' due to the chemical, had to be thrown away
Strong smell of the chemical coming out from me throughout the whole journey home

Yeah, lots of challenges, but by the grace of God i did not complain in any situation but rather knowing that God is preparing me for something far worse than these.

Today i went to see the sensei on my ankle, he said its ligament tear, that shocked me, but i will be going to see the MO in my new camp to confirm, or going CGH for check up. I had a great time with JX at McDonald where we had a good sharing of what God spoke and showed us throughout these 4 days at the camp. JX lost his HP last night, maybe its on the cab, unfortunately no one came to return to JX, so i guess the person who took the HP will be blessed by JX indirectly, but still he will take responsibility for not return things that don't belong to him. So i accompanied JX to get his new phone and renew his plan, spend abit of money but its worth it for the new phone and JX seems to like that new phone.

Just now was having PM, as PS Lovleen was sharing on the light stick that we prophetically broke it and it shine, i told Don that i literally broke my light stick and he said 'Yeah i know', but i told him 'Not the inside one, but literally the outside one, and the chemical flow out'. And there Don is, laughing all the way, hahaha. But as i turn back i heard PS Lovleen said another phrase 'Flow out', which suddenly caught my attention and something came to my mind real fast and quick:

'The light stick represents us being the potential light that needs to be broken inside in order to shine, but the light stick itself must also be broken again in order for the light(chemical) to flow out, giving off a very strong smell. The chemical represents the light which God has put in us, and the smell represents the influence that we will impact on those around us if we are broken'

Isn't God great and awesome? A new revelation. Praise God!

After Camp

RAW camp is over, and i am back into the world again. Everything is different, with no one to encourage you in your faith in God, and no word being preached to you everyday. Now is really the time where i have to make decisions followed by decisions, and to see the fruits of the camp.
God has never force me or anyone into making decisions, but by His grace for every wrong decisions i have made, He will make a way out and trying to pull me back on track with Him.

During this camp, many things have happened, and this is a total different camp that i attended before. All that have happened i want to give God all the glory. Many things were being revealed to me, and encouragements were spoken to me.

Before i came to this camp, i had tried my best to keep myself pure before the Lord, wanting to see God even touch my life and building even closer relationship with me. And God has showed himself to me. So i want to take this chance to thank God, Hallelujah!
